  • Assure high quality of our digital products
  • Actively contribute to the definition and implementation of our test strategy & concept together with your test lead & test engineer colleagues in the testing guild
  • Actively discuss & define the test architecture in collaboration with your architect colleagues
  • Systematically derive test cases from user stories and requirements in close cooperation with the Development Engineers, Site Reliability engineers, Support colleagues as well as product owners in our agile team
  • Independently implement automated test cases for frontend-, component-, integration-, system- and acceptance tests
  • Maintain and improve our framework of automated test scripts
  • Integrate automated tests into our Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable fast feedback on every build
  • Assist in selecting and adapting test tools and frameworks
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate test case authoring and improve coverage
  • Contribute to testing AI-powered features in our platform, including validating model outputs, data quality, and integration behaviour
  • Contribute to reviews and share your knowledge with the team
  • You are working embedded in the agile development team together with the developers

Your profile

  • 5+ years experience in testing digital products using automated test cases
  • You are breathing a testing mindset and you are keen on breaking things & finding holes and defects
  • You have several years of professional experience in software testing especially in automated Frontend & API testing
  • You have deep knowledge in using test tools and frameworks such as Playwright (TypeScript/C#), Cucumber, RestAssured, Locust, Gatling, MockServer and test reporting frameworks such as Allure
  • You have solid programming skills in C# (.NET) and/or TypeScript/JavaScript; knowledge of Java is a plus
  • You have a good understanding of current standards and technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP, REST and event-driven messaging (e.g. Azure Service Bus)
  • You have experiences in automated non-functional testing like load and performance tests, recovery tests and resilience tests
  • You have solid working knowledge of the Azure cloud platform, ideally including Azure DevOps and Azure Service Bus
  • You are eager to learn new methods and technologies
  • You have achieved ISTQB certification foundation level or higher
  • You actively use AI tools in your daily workflow to boost productivity and code quality
  • You have a basic understanding of how AI/ML-based features behave in production and how to approach testing them (e.g. non-determinism, data validation, edge cases)
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus.
